It took pretty much half a decade and Marvel Rivals for Blizzard to finally start caring about the lore again. Aside from that though, Overwatch plans on having players contribute to either Overwatch or Talon each week for rewards, a new hero release each season, new story arcs every year, UI/menu changes, and more.
