Been teaching this Mandy Moore progression for years and years. I have much to say about what I’m seeing taught in jazz classes at this age - but I’ll keep my trap shut 😆 Maybe I’m just an old fuddy duddy - but you are truly doing a disservice if you aren’t feeding teens the vegetables of dance (jazz dance) - this is … the stuff that you lean on in your 20’s and 30’s (and now 40’s!) because it is pure and never expires. It’s mechanics - it’s building the vehicle (your body) for what’s to come.
