The Tsuglag Lopon of the Zhung Dratshang along with over 150 monks is presiding over the fifth annual Phurbi Drupchen at Kuensel Phodrang in Thimphu. The week-long prayer ceremony, which began today, is in commemoration of His Majesty The King’s 45th birthday. The event started with a butter lamp offering and prayers for His Majesty’s long life.
