Introducing the Puaiohi! These amazing thrushes can be found in some of the most remote streams on Kauaʻi. Invasive ginger, rats, and cats continue to threaten their survival, but they have fortunately been able to adapt to disease. Like ʻŌmaʻo, the native thrush on Hawaiʻi island you usually hear these birds before you see them, but they definitely seem to always be watching. Video by J.
