Sad to hear of the passing of Jim Newman - Los Angeles premiere on-air business reporter for years. Jim was a treasured friend and colleague and a very important part of the early years of @ktlamorningnews . Jim was also on KFWB All-news 98 with business updates for years. A real connoisseur of the arts and fine living - I have shared evenings with Jim that I will never forget. He will be deeply missed. Jim Newman was 87 years old. | Sam Rubin
