Crafting A Bone Nut Blank If you're thinking, why bother with all this? just buy nut blanks, then this video is not for you. I prefer to hand craft as much as I can and love making as much as I can from scratch. I buy dog chew bones, and cut them into usable pieces on my band saw. Sometimes they are already bleached white, and sometimes they are not. To be honest I think either one is acceptable, just depends on the look you're going for.
