Bob Ferguson promised to not raise taxes last year, Olympia Democrats voted to shut the public out of the budget process, and then passed the LARGEST TAX INCREASE & spending spree in state history. In late 2025, Gov. Ferguson said he didn't want to raise taxes again, but then came out in support of an income tax not long after.
