WASHINGTON, DC (ANI) – US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on March 11 embarked on a multi-nation trip to the Indo-Pacific, including India. Calling herself a “child of the Pacific,” Gabbard said she will be visiting Japan, Thailand, and India, with a brief stop in France.

New Delhi will host a crucial security conclave featuring top intelligence officials from 20 nations, including the US and Canada.

Gabbard’s visit comes as part of a broader US strategy to reinforce its presence and alliances in the Indo-Pacific.

Organised by ORF & Ministry of External Affairs, the conference begins Monday amid global churn. Russian FM Lavrov was invited, but his attendance remains uncertain.
