It's Michigan week. Of course, if you are an Ohio State fan, you know that already, but that means there are more than likely a lot of things at stake -- not so much for the Wolverines this year, but

After accepting the Los Angeles Chargers’ head coaching job in January, Jim Harbaugh publicly endorsed Sherrone Moore to succeed him at Michigan. Moore, after all, had a distinct advantage on his résumé over other potential candidates: 1-0 against Ohio State as an acting head coach.

Poggi joined Harbaugh's staff at Michigan back in 2016 as an offensive analyst. He would eventually work his way to becoming the associate head coach under Harbaugh from 2021-22 before taking the head coaching job at Charlotte. Poggi was often credited for being a critical piece in reshaping the culture at Michigan during that 2021 season.

As Moore prepares himself, his staff and his players to march into Ohio Stadium as 21-point underdogs, he’s starting with a clean slate.

While Ohio State enters The Game ranked No. 2 for the umpteenth time, for the first time since 2017, the Wolverines will come into the game unranked and they’re significant underdogs. But Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore doesn’t want to hear about any of that.

A lack of pressure shouldn’t be confused with a lack of desire. Michigan wants to win, as the Wolverines will say over and over this week.
