LOS ANGELES — The San Jose Sharks selected goalie Joshua Ravensbergen with the 30th overall selection at the NHL Draft on Friday at the Peacock Theater. The Sharks acquired the first-round pick from Dallas as part of a February trade that sent forward Mikael Granlund and defenseman Cody Ceci to the Stars.

Marleau, of course, put the work in and was able to impress then-coach Darryl Sutter enough to begin his professional career right away. He later became the franchise’s all-time leader in games played (1,607), goals (522), and points (1,111).

On Thursday, the San Jose Sharks added Dmitry Orlov to improve their defensive core. The team is not done yet, however. They have added another defenceman, this time via the waiver wire.
