Los Angeles Police Department officers fired foam projectiles and flash-bang devices at reporters and photographers who were covering the immigration protests in June.

A federal judge on Thursday issued a temporary restraining order providing protections for journalists covering protests in Los Angeles after reporters alleged law enforcement mistreated them during widespread protests last month.

No officers were injured, but the scene has created enough curiosity that despite the heat, neighbors have been camped outside their homes waiting to hear what happened. FOX 10's Taylor Wirtz reports.
