FromSoftware, the renowned development studio behind popular games like Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series, announced a brand new game at the Nintendo Direct on Wednesday. It’s called The Duskbloods and it’s set to release sometime in 2026 on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Also during the Nintendo Direct, Hazelight announced Split Fiction for Switch 2, while Bandai Namco confirmed that it's bringing Elden Ring to the console. Warner Bros., meanwhile, confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is coming to Switch 2.

At the moment, we know of around 20 new and old games that will be available on launch day. So far Nintendo has only confirmed two first-party launch titles for Switch 2: A new Mario Kart and a weird Switch 2 tutorial game that looks like something that should be included for free (but won’t be).
