Arch Manning, SEC and Texas
Digest more
Texas quarterback Arch Manning is projected to enter his first season as a full-time starter while ranked as the highest-paid player in college sports, according to On3 NIL Valuations.
Widely viewed as the No. 1 prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft, Arch Manning said he's "just focused" on the 2025 season when he was asked about entering the draft next year at SEC Media Days.
One prime example of the disagreement is shown by analyst Jordan Rodgers claiming Manning will be the "fifth-best quarterback in the SEC," while Paul Finebaum said, he's the "best college football quarterback we have seen since Tim Tebow entered the scene in 2006."
