BEND, Ore. — Oregon authorities on Tuesday identified two people who died in a fatal waterfall accident as search operations continued for the one person who remains missing. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office said the victims include Amanda Lloyd, 40, of Rockwall, Texas; and Lindsay Bashan, 33, of Parkland, Florida.

DESCHUTES COUNTY, Ore. — Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office says two women are dead following an accident at Dillon Falls. On Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s office says a group was swept over the falls on the Deschutes River, about 10 miles from Bend.

Searchers using a variety of methods continued their recovery efforts for a fourth day Tuesday for the male still missing after Saturday’s tragedy at Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River, when six people on inner-tubes apparently went over the falls.
Another person has died as a result of Saturday's fatal waterfall accident in central Oregon. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) confirmed that their team of divers recovered the body of a second victim, a woman, around 11 a.m. Monday. She was located below Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River.
Six people were floating the Deschutes River on Saturday afternoon when they missed a chance to exit the river before its perilous 15-foot drop. Three people were rescued from the river and one person was found dead that day.
