Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde today (27 November) claimed that he has left the decision to choose Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) to Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Even as the Maharashtra assembly poll results were declared on November 23, the Mahayuti alliance, which has emerged victorious with absolute majority, is yet to decide on the choice of the next chief minister for the state.

After withdrawing from the CM's race, Eknath Shinde said that the modalities of forming the next government will be finalised in the meeting at Delhi on Thursday.

The oath-taking ceremony for the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra is likely to be held on December 2 at the Wankhede Stadium, sources told ABP News. The ceremony will be attended by top Bharatiya Janata Party leaders,
