A Treasure Coast treasure hunter has reached a plea deal for his role in stealing buried treasure worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Over the years, divers and treasure hunters on land and sea have come across treasures from the 1715 Spanish Fleet.

The Treasure Coast name refers to the Spanish Treasure Fleet that was lost in a 1715 hurricane.
