An old tweet has resurfaced where actress Rachel Zegler had used profanity and condemned Donald Trump, now going viral once again online shortly after her film's opening weekend.

The son of “Snow White” producer Marc Platt slammed Rachel Zegler, 23, as “immature” and narcissistic after it was revealed his father flew to New York to speak to the film’s lead actress when she went political on X. Jonah Platt, 38, brother of actor Ben Platt, issued a scathing response to one negative commenter on his Instagram.

Following the ethnicity-oriented criticism, Zegler set tongues wagging when she hit out at movie bosses who worked on the original 1937 cartoon. Interviewed on the red carpet of Disney's D23 Expo in 2022, she also took aim at the way the animated flick has aged.

The poor box office debut and dismal critical reception of Disney's "Snow White" remake is just the latest in a long line of controversies that Disney has endured in recent years.

No news is good news and Disney is all too aware of this right now. Snow White has barely been out of the headlines but has only just limped across the $100 million mark.

Disney’s “Snow White” had another rocky weekend at the box office. In its second weekend, it came in behind “Working Man,” making $14.2 million domestically. This is down from the low opening weekend of $42.
