A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring John Carpenter, who has received the nickname "The Horror Master" for directing such films as "The Thing" and "Halloween," will be unveiled Thursday.
The suspect has since been identified by authorities as 40-year-old Adam Bowen. He faces 11 felony charges including attempted murder and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
