It's official: Cyber Monday just smashed Black Friday. ASUS ROG Ally 512GB for just $499.99 at Best Buy. That's a $150 discount off its usual price of $649.99. But if you're a My Best Buy Plus member, the savings get even sweeter with an extra $50 off, bringing the price down to $449.99.

The Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme is now available at Best Buy in the US for just $499.99 (was $649.99). Meanwhile, UK shoppers can also enjoy a hefty discount, with the same model down to £399 (was £499) at Amazon.

I genuinely wasn't expecting any new Asus ROG Ally discounts to pop up this Cyber Monday. So, when I came across an even cheaper listing for the Steam Deck alternative earlier, I knew I had to get the word out ASAP.

Cyber Monday sees the original Asus ROG Ally cut down to £399 / $500, making it even cheaper than the ROG Ally X.

It's not quite a sequel, but the Asus ROG Ally X is a revamped version of the company's original ROG Ally handheld. By and large, it still offers up the same kind of performance using an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, but benefits from 24GB RAM and a chonky 1TB SSD.

This is not a drill! The Asus ROG Ally is on sale this Black Friday, with the price dropping to a solid $500 from its $650 MSRP, meaning you can pick up this Windows-based Steam Deck rival without its usual steep premium over Valve’s more limited gaming handheld.

That’s what I’ve found. Right now, the Asus ROG Ally X is down to $699 at Best Buy. That is a huge $100 saving on my favorite gaming handheld. But that’s not the only Steam Deck killer on sale, because the standard ROG Ally is $150 off and the Lenovo Legion Go is a whopping $200 off!
