President Donald Trump is willing to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, he told his South Korean counterpart on Monday when they discussed peace in the Korean Peninsula and Pyongyang’s nuclear weapon capabilities.

In his first meeting with new South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at the Oval Office, Donald Trump brought up someone he claimed he knew "better than anybody," before adding "almost, other than his sister.

Trump says he has a good relationship with Kim Jong Un and expects to meet 'someday' ahead of White House summit with South Korea's president, Lee Jae Myung.
