CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person is dead after a shooting Friday evening inside a gas station in Gary, Indiana. The shooting happened just after 5:30 p.m. at the Save gas station at 21st and Vermont. Police said they could not provide any information on what led to the shooting, or the identity of the victim.

Two people were killed and a third person sustained serious injuries in a shooting Friday evening in Portage, Indiana, authorities said.

When police arrived on scene, they found a person who had been shot. That victim was pronounced dead moments later.
