On Tuesday at 2:54 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. The advisory is for Inland Pender as well as Robeson and Bladen counties.

Storm Kingston swept across the U.S. from the Midwest into the South and mid-Atlantic, bringing snow, ice and dangerous road conditions to cities including Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kansas City and Roanoke, Virginia.

Eastern North Carolina is expecting to see winter storm conditions Wednesday and Thursday. Ice, snow and freezing rain are to be expected for the next two days.
