BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena's Eknath Shinde and NCP leader AJit Pawar reached the residence of Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday to hold a key meeting over the CM's post.

Mahayuti is planning a swearing-in ceremony on 2 December, but if power-sharing is not finalised till then, it may have to be postponed to 4 December, says an NCP insider.

BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis also asserted that the Mahayuti alliance had no internal differences and that a decision on the Chief Minister would be made soon after consulting the leaders.

Eknath Shinde, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, met Shah and Nadda late Thursday (November 28) to thrash out a power-sharing pact for the next government in Maharashtra after the BJP-led coalition registered a thumping majority in the Assembly elections.
