The election of a new chair of the Democratic National Committee, along with other top leadership positions, will be Feb. 1, 2025, at the party’s winter meeting in National Harbor, Maryland, according to a DNC official.

The Democratic National Committee is scheduled to hold its election for chairperson on Feb. 1, 2025. The DNC announced the date Monday and said the balloting would conclude its Jan. 30-31 winter meeting at National Harbor, in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.

The contest will be held at the committee’s winter meeting at the National Harbor in Maryland that begins on Jan. 30 and culminates with the election on Feb. 1. Throughout January, the DNC will host four candidate forums, some of which will be in-person and others of which will be virtual.
