The University of South Carolina marching band got a chance to represent their school and state by playing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The band was one of several from across the country invited to the 98th edition of the annual holiday tradition that took place Thursday morning in New York City.

The “Mighty Sound of the Southeast” performed live on the Today Show early Wednesday as they prepare to march the streets of New York on Thanksgiving Day. The University of South Carolina’s celebrated Carolina Band was one of 11 bands selected to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
