Canadian fans booed the American national anthem when the teams met in a round-robin match in Montreal, which was followed by three fights in the first nine seconds of the game.

Team USA will play its biggest game in 15 years on Thursday night when it meets Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship. The Americans have already shown they can beat their bitter rivals, but the Canadians will do everything they can to avenge Saturday's loss and win the tournament.

There was outstanding goaltending on both sides, Connor Hellebuyck robbed Cale Makar with seconds left in regulation and Jordan Binnington thwarted Auston Matthews three times in overtime.
