PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have a young and developing offensive line that has seen it's struggles. But the group, and the team, believe they're headed in the right direction. So does their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. But after his comments about them, offensive line coach Pat Meyer is catching some heat.

Given that back and forth, it's clear Metcalf has already begun lobbying Rodgers to play beyond the 2025 season. And, based on Rodgers' response to Metcalf's comment, it's clear he is keeping an open mind when it comes to his future in Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are two weeks away from starting their 2025 season against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. It will also mark the first time several new stars will don their new threads. Two of those stars are Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf, neither of whom played in the preseason.
