Enough fentanyl to kill nearly a million people were seized thanks to a six-month investigation that dismantled a major drug enterprise in Florida.

Thirty-three people have been arrested, including two incarcerated brothers and their parents, after Hillsborough County deputies say they were part of a drug-trafficking ring organized, in part, with a cell phone that was smuggled into a Florida prison.

Two men pleaded guilty to a gun trafficking scheme from Florida to Puerto Rico, facing up to five years in prison. Their case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods to reduce gun violence.
