Daniil Medvedev had a meltdown on the court at Louis Armstrong Stadium Sunday night at the U.S. Open in his loss against Benjamin Bonzi.

At Wimbledon in 2017, Medvedev was fined after emptying his wallet and throwing coins at umpire Mariana Alves following a five-set loss to Belgium's Ruben Bemelmans. He disputed a series of controversial calls and said after the match "it was very hot out there" and couldn't remember if he'd asked for Alves' removal.

Daniil Medvedev’s match was delayed more than six minutes between points Sunday night, after a photographer entered the court on match point and the 2021 U.S. Open champion became enraged by the chair umpire’s decision to award his opponent a first serve.

A photographer who interrupted play for nearly seven minutes by stepping on the court at Louis Armstrong Stadium in the middle of a US Open first-round match between Daniil Medvedev and Benjamin Bonzi had his credential revoked for the remainder of the tournament, the USTA announced in the early hours of Monday morning.
