Fresh off trading WR Deebo Samuel to the Commanders for a fifth-round pick, the two teams have had dealings just months ago. There’s no doubt McLaurin would be a polished, reliable veteran to complement Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall, giving Brock Purdy another high-end target.

He is right that Terry McLaurin is a great player and that his intangibles are extremely valuable to the team. McLaurin is one of the better receivers in the NFL. However, I continue to be amazed at the lack of objectivity that can sometimes rear its head when discussing McLaurin and his contract.
