Viral clip shows Congress leader Rahul Gandhi saying that once the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is out of power, action would be taken against ‘them’. Video dates back to March 2024.

In the video, President of India Droupadi Murmu, flanked by other dignitaries like Vice-president Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla greet those present for the ceremony. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, alongwith Rahul Gandhi are among the leaders given place on the dais.

BJP leader Amit Malviya criticized Rahul Gandhi for allegedly not greeting President Droupadi Murmu at the 75th Constitution Day event. Malviya questioned Gandhi's behavior, highlighting Murmu's tribal background and gender.

November 26 is observed as Constitution Day in India as on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution, which came into effect on January 26, 1950, marking the beginning of a new era in Indian history.

The BJP claimed that Rahul Gandhi disrespected President Draupadi Murmu at the Constitution Day event and was distracted during the national anthem.
