Rashford fell out of favour at Manchester United last season after Ruben Amorim publicly criticised his work rate in training. He was put up for sale this summer after returning from a six-month loan at Aston Villa. The Catalan giants Barcelona reported interest early in the window, and talks over a one-year loan are now in the final stages.

MEN Sport reported on Saturday afternoon that Rashford has employed a Spanish agency, AC Talent, to try and push through a move to the Catalan club. The head of that agency, Arturo Canales, helped the winger complete a loan move to Aston Villa in the January transfer window.
