Wisconsin top underclassman cornerback Jonas Duclona announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Monday. Duclona is now the fourth Badger set to enter, joining QB Cole LaCrue, OLB Leon Lowery and CB Amare Snowden.

Wisconsin cornerback Jonas Duclona plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced via X on Monday night. Duclona just wrapped up his second season with the Badgers but will be looking to play elsewhere moving forward.

Madison, WI— A second member of Wisconsin football head coach Luke Fickell's inaugural recruiting class is leaving. This is the second second-year player in the defensive secondary the Badgers are set to lose to the transfer portal.

Jonas Duclona, who played more as a freshman, appeared in four games this season and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Duclona becomes the fourth known player to announce his intention to transfer, joining quarterback Cole LaCrue, outside linebacker Leon Lowery, and fellow cornerback Amare Snowden. These announcements come on the heels of Wisconsin’s season-ending loss to Minnesota, with the winter transfer window officially opening on Monday, Dec. 9.
