Weeks before Fyre Festival II was set to begin in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, founder Billy McFarland announced that it has been postponed indefinitely until organizers can determine a new location.

Fyre Fest 2, which had been slated to take place next month, might have served as a redemption tour for Mr. McFarland, who was released in 2022 after close to four years in prison and another six months of confinement.

Fyre Festival 2 has been postponed, according to the event organizers. The festival was supposed to take place in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, from Friday, May 30, to Monday, June 2.
