Pearl saw No. 7 Michigan up close Tuesday night as the Wolverines steamrolled his Tigers 102-72 at Michelob Ultra Arena to punch their ticket to the Players Era Championship title game Wednesday night against No. 12 Gonzaga (9:30 p.m. ET, TNT).

The only exception was against Houston, where they scored a respectable 72 points in an extremely slow-paced game against the best defense in the country. Michigan State traveled to Florida on Sunday ahead of the tournament, which will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena – capacity of 3,500 – on Florida SouthWestern State College’s campus. The Spartans are making their debut in the event, which was won by rival Michigan last year.
