One commuter said "it was carnage" as she was caught up in the travel disruption at East Croydon this morning.

The cars were carrying a "flammable liquefied gas fuel," a spokesperson with DEEP said.

DEEP said 14 cars derailed and five are in the water. People within 1/2 mile are asked to shelter in place.
