The Las Vegas Raiders have acquired quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Cleveland Browns in a trade, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Raiders acquired Kenny Pickett from the Browns on Monday, giving them an experienced backup for Geno Smith after Aidan O'Connell was injured, and leaving Cleveland with rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders behind starter Joe Flacco.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns are trading the quarterback to the Las Vegas Raiders in return for a fifth-round pick. The Raiders will be without Aidan O'Connell for six to eight weeks after suffering a fractured wrist, so Pickett will serve as Geno Smith's backup in Las Vegas.
