CLEVELAND, Ohio - A teenage boy died Monday afternoon after being shot on Cleveland’s east side, according to police.

Police say the shooting took place in the 2900 block of East 71st Street. The teen was found shot in a parking lot.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 17-year-old Kereem Lockett of Cleveland.
