The evacuation is mandatory only for the area from the Comal County line at Guadalupe State Park along the river to FM 311.

The area remains under a flood watch until 7 p.m.

Recreational access to the Comal River has been temporarily closed due to heavy rainfall and rising water levels. Comal County is also under a Flash Flood Warning until 3 p.m.
