The Astro robot for home lives on and will continue to be available and operational for users. Unlike the business or commercial versions, the Astro for homes will not be bricked by Amazon.

Amazon announced Astro in September 2021 as a home robot; that version of the device is still available as a $1,600, invite-only preview. In November, Amazon pivoted Astro to SMBs.
