Theater owners attending Universal's presentation in Las Vegas are the first members of the public to get a glimpse of the continuing story of the Witches of Oz.
“Wicked” stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and director Jon M. Chu appeared at the annual CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week to tease footage from the upcoming second half of the story — “Wicked: For Good.”
Wicked fans are demanding that Universal releases a trailer for Wicked: For Good after an on-stage sneak peek. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both appeared on stage with director Jon M Chu and producer Marc Platt at CinemaCon to showcase some footage of the second part of the musical's big screen adaptation.
After a magical year, Oz favorites Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande returned to CinemaCon to debut the first trailer for the sequel "Wicked: For Good."

Ever since Wicked: Part 1 came out in 2024, fans have been desperate to see how Jon M. Chu and the cast adapt the rest of the beloved musical. As it stands, we know Part 2 is much darker than the original film and Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande have both confirmed that they have brand new original songs for Elphaba and Glinda in the movie.
A lucky few got the chance to get a glimpse of that journey in the first trailer for Wicked: For Good at Universal's CinemaCon presentation on Wednesday evening. Stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were on hand to introduce the footage, alongside director Jon M. Chu and producer Marc Platt.
