Nathaniel Lowe hit a go-ahead triple with the bases loaded in the eighth inning and finished with four RBIs as the Washington Nationals rallied to beat the Detroit Tigers 9-4 Wednesday night for a doubleheader split.

The Nationals had a six-run eighth inning to beat the Tigers, 9-4, to gain a split of the doubleheader Wednesday at Nationals Park.

The game on Tuesday, July 1 vs. the Nationals has been called off because of rain and there will be doubleheader Wednesday.
