The National Weather Service (NWS) in Huntsville has confirmed that four EF-1 tornadoes touched down in the Shoals area on Saturday night.
As of 7:00 a.m., forecasters had issued a tornado watch for central Alabama, including Demopolis, Prattville, and Talladega, among dozens of other cities.
