Bloomington is under a severe thunderstorm warning along with several other cities in central Indiana as thunderstorms blow east, according to the National Weather Service.
Another round of severe weather is headed for Bloomington-Normal on Wednesday. McLean County and surrounding counties are at a Level 3 enhanced risk (3 out of 5) for severe weather on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Monroe County, along with swaths of Illinois and Indiana, is under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. Sunday ahead of expected severe weather. Portions of Kentucky and Missouri are also under the watch.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service indicated all hazards are possible including tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail Wednesday night.
At least 80 million people − from the Midwest to the South to the East − were in the path of turbulent weather Sunday into Monday.
