The Texas Longhorns have chosen to side with history headed into the SEC Championship. Texas will wear its icy white away uniforms for Saturday's title fight against the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta despite being the designated home team.

The Longhorns rank No. 3 nationally in total defense, No. 2 in scoring defense, No. 1 in passing yards allowed and No. 3 in total interceptions while allowing just six passing touchdowns.

The Texas Longhorns are preparing for an SEC matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs on Dec. 7 in the conference title game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Texas will enter as the home team after finishing the 2024 season with an 11-1 record, the No. 1 team in the SEC.
