The Eagles surrendered their 2027 seventh-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings in the trade to acquire quarterback Sam Howell earlier on Sunday, so, this move helps to offset the cost there to some extent. That being said, this trade is a bit of a surprise … for multiple reasons.

Derrick Nnadi is back with the Chiefs. The defensive tackle who had been with the Chiefs since 2018 signed with the New York Jets after last season.
