First Alert: Breezy with elevated fire risk today; summer-like temps, higher humidity by the weekend
There is an elevated fire risk today due to the breezy conditions and ongoing drought. Winds will be calmer on Thursday. It will also be sunny and warm in the mid-70s. Southerly winds return on Friday, bringing much warmer and more humid conditions over the weekend.
We started your Sunday with some scattered showers and storms, but the day won’t be a total washout. Look for several dry hours through this afternoon as the showers move out, and more warm sunshine moves in. Increasing humidity will also be a part of the forecast, with highs soaring into the mid to upper 80’s.
