Arkansas likely won’t see a team as far off its own quality as Maryland-Eastern Shore for the rest of the season. The Razorbacks used the contest to improve, sharpen in some areas, get some end-of-bench players some minutes and, ultimately, add an easy win to their tally.

Freshman Karter Knox scored a game-high 21 points to lead seven Arkansas players in double figures. Davis and Boogie Fland each added 16, Billy Richmond and Zvonimir Ivisic had 14 apiece, D.J. Wagner scored 13 points and Adou Thiero chipped in 11.

Arkansas (4-1) is looking to string together its fourth consecutive victory, which would be its longest since early in the 2022-23 season. Standing in its way is Maryland-Eastern Shore (2-6), a team picked seventh out of eight teams in the MEAC preseason poll.

FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men’s basketball team won in historic fashion Monday night at Bud Walton Arena. The 19th-ranked Razorbacks (5-1) used a 28-0 run in the first half to take a 45-point halftime lead (60-15), tied for the largest in program history, and breezed past Maryland-Eastern Shore for a 109-35 victory.

The Arkansas Razorbacks get one last chance to run short-handed and still have a legitimate chance to hold up before the schedule gets too tough to continue playing with such a small line-up because of injuries.
