Israel’s military has announced that Omer Neutra, an American-Israeli soldier believed to be held hostage by Hamas, was actually killed in the October 7 attacks. This comes after Hamas released propaganda video showing another hostage begging incoming President Donald Trump to negotiate for their freedom.

The strikes came as medics reported at least 32 fatalities in Gaza, including nine killed when an airstrike hit a vehicle near a crowd receiving aid. Israeli officials maintain that military actions target Hamas terrorists and accuse the group of using civilian infrastructure as shields.
