The Detroit Lions finished off their preseason with a 26-7 loss to the Houston Texans on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Ford Field in Detroit.

To answer my own question, I think Braxton Berrios has moved furthest up the roster since the start of training camp. He was the presumed WR8 on the roster and now feels more like WR4. The Texans utilized him in short-area passing plays and on the sidelines. He’ll also be the team’s primary punt returner

Analysis: Bryant is a more polished receiving threat, but Smith is a better blocker and more well-rounded. He's also been here throughout camp. While the Texans just traded for Bryant, it'll be tough for him to make the roster. Projected depth: Cam Robinson, Blake Fisher.
